We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Brecks Group team. In this role, you’ll provide administrative and legal support to the legal department.
You must be organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and computer skills. You need to be reliable, professional, and committed to providing high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Support lawyers throughout all stages of litigation
• Manage and organize case files and legal documents
• Prepare and track legal documents
• Prepare correspondence and complex legal documents
• Draft and edit documents using formatting and content requested by lawyers
• Prepare case summaries
• Verify citation accuracy
• Assist in the review of legal publications
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Maintain an organized legal filing system
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge
• Manage the calendar for legal professionals
• Perform other related administrative duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of legal secretarial experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of legal technology and hardware
• Familiarity with legal research methods
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
