Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Foreman to assist our Foreman in overseeing daily construction operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, along with a strong understanding of construction methods and processes. The Assistant Foreman will play a critical role in ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Assist the Foreman in overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities<\/p>\n

– Ensure that the project is being built according to the plans and specifications<\/p>\n

– Supervise and train construction staff and subcontractors<\/p>\n

– Communicate daily progress to the Foreman and provide solutions to any issues that may arise<\/p>\n

– Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work is completed to company and industry standards<\/p>\n

– Maintain a safe work environment and promote adherence to all safety protocols<\/p>\n

– Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and expenses incurred<\/p>\n

– Collaborate with the team to develop and implement construction schedules and maintain project timelines<\/p>\n

– Order and monitor materials and equipment needed for construction projects<\/p>\n

– Assist with estimating and budgeting for upcoming projects<\/p>\n

– Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role<\/p>\n

– Strong understanding of construction methods and processes<\/p>\n

– Excellent leadership and communication skills<\/p>\n

– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans<\/p>\n

– Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software<\/p>\n

– Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols<\/p>\n

– Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively<\/p>\n

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation<\/p>\n

– High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in construction management or related field is a plus<\/p>\n
