Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures in new and existing buildings.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on electrical design and layout to meet project specifications.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations during all phases of work.
Requirements
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
