Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in BIM technologies and methodologies to support the design, construction, and management of building projects. This role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to develop intelligent 3D models that streamline project workflows, enhance coordination, and improve overall project efficiency. The BIM Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places, enabling better decision-making throughout the construction lifecycle. A strong understanding of industry standards and software platforms coupled with excellent problem-solving skills will be essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed BIM models throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of designs and resolve clashes through coordination meetings.
  • Implement and manage BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
  • Conduct clash detection, model validation, and quality control to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
  • Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models to support construction and project management tasks.
  • Stay current with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance modeling processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BIM Specialist or similar role within the AEC industry.
  • Expertise in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to interpret and translate architectural and engineering drawings into accurate 3D models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex coordination issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and project management principles is a plus.
  • Certification in BIM-related courses or professional credentials is preferred.
